BeOne Road Bikes

In 2012 BeOne have kept the successful Storm and Mistral range of bikes with a fresh look on great bikes. They have added a higher rangfe bike in the Diablo which comes in a number of configurations depending on your budget, as well as the Typhoon comfort. Building on their success in 2011, this Dutch bike company continue to go from strength to strength.

BeOne showed their new range of road bikes for 2011 some have been tweaked from previous years, which includes the T700 series the Pearl Pro, Pearl Race, Pearl Comp and Pearl.

The T700 Pearl series all come with a full carbon T700 frame and fork setup. The Pro has Shimano Ultegra and FSA Energy components and weighs 7.9kg with a mainly red coloured frame with some black and white, whilst the Race comes with SRAM Force and FSA Energy components and weighs 7.5kg coming in a pearl white colour. Both bikes come with DT Swiss R1900 wheels.

The Pearl Comp has Shimano Ultegra and FSA Gossamer/Omega components and weighs 8.6kg and comes in carbon grey and blue colours. The Pearl is made up with Shimano 105 and FSA Gossamer and Omega components and weighs 8.7kg and has a carbon grey coloured frame and forks. Both these bikes come with wheels made up of Shimano 105 and Mavic CXP-22 rims and hubs.

Also on show were the Performance series, which includes the Mistral Race and the Mistral Comp.

The Mistral Race has the following components Shimano Ultegra and FSA Gossamer. It weighs 8.8kg and comes in Pearl white and Dutch orange colour. The Mistral Comp components are shimano 105 and FSA Gossamer and it weights in at 8.9kg with a pearl white and black colour scheme.

Both the Mistral Race and Comp frames are made of 7005 alloy aluminium and have carbon forks as well as Easton wheels. In 2012 the Mistral Sport has been added to the Mistral series and comes with a Shimano 105 groupset and weighs in a 9.3kg. All of the Mistral series come in the following sizes – 50, 53, 56, 59 and 62cm.

Finally the Sport series, which in 2012 has added the Storm Race and Storm Sport to the successful Storm Comp.

The Storm Comp frame is aluminium 7005 with carbon forks. The components are Shimano Tiagra with Shimano WHR-500 wheels. It weighs 9.1kg and has a full red paint job. The Storm Comp comes the following sizes – 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 cm

The race and sport weigh 9.7kg and the race comes with Shimano Tiagra components compared to Shimano sora for the sport version.
